everything else I had some fun at the Apple store yesterday. I bought a 15″ MacBookPro. It’s plenty big enough, I don’t need to wait for the 17″. I also bought a 24″ monitor to go with it - it’s awesome! I can see a whole 12 x 12 page at 50%. I added a 6×8 Wacom Intuos and I have a rockin’ new set up. I want to test how much faster it is once I get everything set up. I should have my new copy of Adobe CS4 this week - it’s in the mail.
I also had a job interview yesterday, I should know by the end of day Monday if I got it.

everything else I finalized the sale of Photo Book Memories today. The check is in mail! I’m looking at 3 Macs, MacBook Pro, Mac Pro or iMac. I’m leaning toward the MacBook Pro. It’s more money than the iMac, but I think it will be worth it to have a laptop. I’m looking for a job in corporate America as an interface designer, and having a laptop to go back and forth will be great.
I also want a new monitor. I really want the 30″, but it’s twice the price of the 24″ that matches the laptop - $1799 vs $899.
I need a new tablet - I want the wireless Wacom Graphire - but the Intuos is better - but the wireless costs less - I’m tired of wires.
Now that I’ve sold the business, I think all of my blog readers are gone! If anyone is still out there, let me know!

Uncategorized Here is a picture of the elevation I’ve chosen. I really don’t like colonials, but that’s about all you can get out here in VA. This photo doesn’t do it justice. The inside is great. It has all of the fancy wainscoting (which I’m not crazy about) in the foyer, office, living room and dining room - I’m going to find something fun for that, like wallpapering just the inside boxes or something. The kitchen is to die for… it’s massive. I’m building a Florida room off the kitchen - like a sunroom and we are adding a master suite - it’s very cool. We are on a 1/2 acre lot backing to trees with a park out front for the kids.
this looks more interesting than plain white - send me ideas! Mine isn’t going to be this fancy.

Photoshop We’ve been here for a bout a week and a half. I’ve been busy running around looking at houses and learning about the different communities. I found a house I want to build, we just need to negotiate the price to where we want it. Chuck wants me to keep looking at existing homes, but I’m tired of looking!
Photo Book Memories is still for sale, I’ve had a couple of nibbles, so if you are interested, let me know.
The kids started school yesterday. It’s a lot different out here, but they both make friends quickly. We have an ice storm going on - the world looks like it’s made of glass… never had anything like it in Colorado.
